Who am I?

I am a Computer Science graduate from the University of Victoria with a passion for engineering, product, and design. I like solving tough problems alongside motivated and like-minded people.

Outside of work I enjoy short walks on the beach, reading, hiking, camping and video games!

What have I done?

Besides building this website, I have worked as a Software Developer and Manager in a variety of environments ranging from game development, mixed reality R&D for the Canadian government, medical services, and industrial automation. I have been fortunate enough to play a leadership role at a company while it grew from 20 people to over 300. At the company's peak I was managing two teams consisting of 18 people. This allowed me to learn from the wide variety of challenges experienced at different levels of scale. It was also a rewarding experience rapidly building impactful features and helping junior developers grow into senior roles.
